The arena

Hall 4 becomes an arena.

Competitive brackets on a main stage, open stations where you just sit down and play, and the people who make, stream and sell the games you love. When you need a break, AI, startups and cybersecurity are a few steps away under the same roof.

Good to know

Questions

Something else? Ask the Connecta team and we will answer.

Do I need to be a pro?
No. Most of the zone is open play: free stations, VR, sims, the retro corner and walk-up challenges. Brackets are there for those who want stage time.
How do I enter a tournament?
Get your Connecta pass first. Then press Enter a tournament: pick the title, add your gamer tag and, for a team title, your team name and teammates. Spectators never fill in game details.
How do teams sign up?
The captain enters the team, names it and adds each teammate’s name and email. Each teammate gets a link of their own to confirm, with a free pass if they have none, and the captain sees who has confirmed on My Connecta.
Do I need to bring my own gear?
No. Stations, consoles, PCs and sims are all provided. Each title’s rules say whether you may bring your own controller, mouse, keyboard or headset. Mobile players bring their own charged phone.
Can I just come and watch?
Yes. Your pass covers watching the matches, playing at the free stations and the talks.
What if I miss my match?
Check in at the Connecta Play desk before your bracket starts. When check-in closes, empty slots go to the next player or team on the waiting list, and you get a message.
Are under-18s welcome?
Yes. Players under 18 need a parent’s or guardian’s consent when they enter a tournament, and some titles have their own minimum age.

Game on in Hall 4.
