Breakthrough shows ventures that made it through the bottleneck, the moment the venture could have died. Stands are earned, not handed out: founders apply for a limited number of places, and selected ventures get a free stand and a Main Stage slot. In return they tell their story, show their product and help the founders coming after them. It is a selection, not a competition: no ranking, no winners, no prize.
